Not currently temping, might temp if I start seeing fertile-quality CM, just to see if I O. Don't have it in me to get obsessed right now, so we'll see if being more relaxed will help.

(((Hugs))) MA,

I think that sounds very wise. Did your Dr predict how long it will take before you might see O? Or is it too individual to predict? Arrgg, I still find it almost too painful to even think about your loss, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you.

BTW - Thanks for chat this morning.

(M/c ment)Dr. didn't give me anything to predict O, just said AF could return 4-8 weeks (I'm really hoping for closer to the 4 mark, since it took 8 mos to get pg before, KWIM?). From what I've read, I may not O at all before 1st AF, that's why I might temp, to see if I do O. He said he recommends waiting 3 cycles before TTC again, but also said "If you show up pg in 6 weeks, I'm not going to give you a hard time." That was for the physical aspects of recovery. As for emotional recovery, he said to make sure we have given ourselves enough time to grieve before trying again, he said that could make it much longer. However, dh and I have decided not to TTA and actively TTC after 1st AF. In our hearts it feels like the right thing to do and we don't think it does anything to dishonor the baby we lost. We can never replace that one, but need to progress forward toward what we've been striving for the past year.

So, the short version is, the dr. did not "order" us to TTA, so we're not.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and the chat (that was fun). Most days are good days now, but milestones (like the u/s date, family celebrations, etc.) are more difficult.
