Hi & welcome.

I'd say your first step is to take a HPT and hopefully that will answer all your questions! :)

If it's a bfn, I recommend charting, if you've never charted before Taking Control of your Fertility is a great book to get you started or even the "lessons" that are included with FertilityFriend- an online site to chart your cycles.

Best wishes,
L

Hi Krista and welcome to our board :)

I would say that you are either experiencing implantation spotting or anovulatory bleeding. If it is the anov. spotting that you are seeing, it just means that your body tried to O and didn't quite make it and your spotting is just a very light AF basically.

I would suggest you start by taking an HPT in the next few days and if it is positive then hurray ! Come back and tell us....

If it is negative, I would suggest you might start temping/charting daily to see if you can't see what your body is up to more clearly. Many of us use cheap internet OPK's to watch for that pre O surge which could also be very helpful in your case. If you haven't O'd yet, it seems like your body is getting ready to.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Hey there :) I would count your spotting as Day 1 and go from there - although you might want to test again in a few days to be sure. I know what you mean about temping stressing out Dh - I used to hide my thermometer under the pillow and just not share the details with him about when I got + OPK's or a peak on my monitor etc. It can really put a damper on things.....
Maybe you could just chart CM for now and watch for fertile patches..BD whenever you see them.

I hope you stick around with us for awhile!
