Welcome! My DD was 15 months when I finally O'd and got a BFP. At 12 months I went back to work and she went from nursing 4x to 2x per day. Over the next month or so I noticed that my temps dropped lower which I interpreted to mean that my estrogen levels were returning to normal. I also started seeing regular periods of fertile CM. I would give your body a couple of months to adjust to the reduced nursing and you might see your fertility return.

Hi Paige and welcome :)

I would agree with PP Dawn's advice about giving your body a bit more time to adjust to your new nursing schedule etc. I have 2 DS's - #2 was conceived while I was nursing #1 with relative ease. TTC#3 turned out to be much more difficult then I ever imagined it would be be.....

While I doubt very much you will have the troubles I did, I can say that it seems prior experiences TTC are not always indicative of future endeavors. Our bodies do change with time and nursing patterns can do different things to our cycles that they might not have before. I got my PPAF after #1 was born at 16 months PP - after #2 was born, I saw AF back at around 12 weeks PP! Having said that, it didn't seem to help my fertility at all.
