Hi Jade :) I welcomed you up top in another thread but am here now too! (Wow - love that we have board members in far away places like Sweden) I am Jasmine, mom to 3 fab kiddies - DS#1 is almost 7 years old, DS#2 is 4, and baby girl is 9 months old. I took lots of vitex when TTC#2 - got PPAF around 16 months and was pregnant when he was 22 months old. Vitex definitely helped me get on track..... I took the liquid kind and have read that it tends to work faster then pills. It certainly tastes worse lol! I would follow the instructions on the bottle for the kind that you have as each kind is probably a little different. As for when to stop - I used to take it from AF to O and then for a few days after I saw my temp rise (at 1/2dose) - was always too nervous to take it past then. I personally would not take it to BFP and beyond. Hope that helps and hope you stick around!

Thanks! This morning I have my first 'almost' positive OPK. Hopefully it will spike a bit more and I'll have my first 2ww soon! I feel more BDing comng on! If I confirm (or suspect) ovulation I'll reduce my intake of vitex for a couple of days and then stop. It sounds like a good approach. I don't want to stop cold turkey. Last month my chart was difficult to interpret and I didn't have any OPKs so all I was going on was my CM and temps. My temps were quite eratic with a couple of spikes and dips after my last EWCM so I can't be certain which day (if any) I Oed. My LP was either 10 days or 6 or 7 days. I'm hoping it was the 10! Thanks again for your kind messages! Jade :)
