Hi,

I saw this board, and felt like you all might be able to answer my question.

I think it's very possible that your problem is a result of a combination of the Mirena, the cysts and nursing. Every woman differs on how nursing affects her fertility. Some women do not get pg until they wean completely, and some like me get pg when they're still nursing 10x's a day. If you're ready to wean then you might just want to try that before taking the clomid.

Sorry it took me a couple days to get back to you.

"why would you suggest weaning before trying Clomid? What are the risks with taking it?"

I've never taken it so I really don't know anything about it. I assume it has some kind of side effect, all drugs do. That's the only reason I suggested holding off until you try weaning first. Weaning has less side effects... well, I guess there are a whole lot of ways you could look at that.

I got pg w/ my twins when ds was 24 months old and still nursing a lot. I got pg "accidentally" on my second cycle post partum. Sadly, they died at 23 wks gestation due to an umbilical cord accident, which BTW had nothing to do with the fact that I was still nursing.

Good Luck and **babydust**
