OK so now I can breathe... but it's goin

...but it's apparently going to take a lot of sterroides (three different meds) to keep me breathing.

Sinus surgury (two weeks ago) went ok. They tried not to do regular gauze packing in there instead used gel packing (which in time disolves - no pulling out your eyeballs to remove it). Well about 3 hours post surgery my one nostril was still bleeding

Glad for the update-- the whole thing :)

It's been 85+ degrees or raining, so haven't really "enjoyed" fall... but DID decorate for it and am sooooo looking forward to it. (see i did read the whole thing hehe)

I'm glad surgery went well, sorry post surgery wasn't smooth, and grateful you're getting back on track . What's even better is that you have a supportive team of drs that are on board with your TTC efforts and recognize the medical hurdle with all the treatments for the sinuses....

I have been toying with the idea of doing cycle work, but have to wait until next month when our new insurance starts and i figure out what will be covered or NOT yikes---- but I was checking into kits that you can buy for in-home sperm tests. they're obviously not as great as a lab, but my obgyn told me that sometimes #s come back lower because a man has anxiety/discomfort in the office, whereas the comfort of home can be a better guage. anyway, it's about $75 and you can use it to judge whether he needs to go back in or not... just a thought. fortunately (or unfortunately however you feel about it), my DH has no shame or trouble doing anything anywhere--- he didn't even flinch when i told him about the script for an analysis.... but the home kit may end up being cheaper if my ins. doesn't cover the rest.. so i'm still waiting.

anyway, i hope you get better every day and get a nice plan of action for when your meds stop and a BFP asap!

(Big hugs!!!!!!!!!!!)......that ice pick portion really made me cringe - I am so glad you are back and that the surgery is behind you, and awesome that your doctor is willing to work with you on getting pregnant again soon. Now go march DH in there and get him to hand over his sample - my DH did it with a lot of pushing and just remind him that what WE have to do vs. what they have to do in this whole baby making thing is considerably different lol!

Hugs again, Jasmine

sorry for the bumpy surgery recovery but yay for being able to breathe and smell ! I am very much looking forward to fall and Thanksgiving and Black Friday :-) I hope everything gets worked out with your sinuses and you don't need to have another surgery.
