I think that you can get lh surges in your lp...I haven't usually continued taking after getting my temp rise. BUT, I would still continue bding just in case. Do you think it was "more" positive than the ones you got before? I've seen lots of charts where there are 4 or 5 days of positive opks, particularly in bfing mama's, sometimes going out as late as 2 or 3 dpo. And lh doesn't necessarily go away until after o, just depends. On top of that, even though you're 3 dpo, you could only be 2 1/2 dpo, kwim? We take our temps in the am, you could have thrown that eggie right after you temped one day, or a couple of hours before you temped another day.
I hope I"m making some sense....and maybe even answering your question. I'd mark it as positive on your chart, keep bding, and see what happens over the next couple of days. It should become more clear soon. Ha, just when you thought you could relax and stop bding, right?

Hey :) I am very late in my reply - sorry! Hopefully you catch that egg and it doesn't matter what I have to say - but if you don't, I think the rule of thumb is that until that test stick goes clear again, keep BD'ing ! I hope you did that anyways :)
I LOVE that your DH was such a good sport and tested an OPK out for you! That is awesome - mine would never be so accommodating I don't think :)
