Can anyone recommend an OTC progesterone? My doctor doesn't want to try anything yet... but I don't know if I can handle another 3 day LP....

Thanks!

Alyssa,

3 days is just heartbreaking! It will probably even out quickly on it's own, though. If you don't want to wait, I used

I used a progesterone cream for a few cycles and it didn't seem to improve my LP.

Thanks, Sunday. You always say the right thing (to make me smile)!

I think I am going to give my body another chance on its own, but if I get another short LP, I will try it. Did you just start it the day of/after O and continue until AF showed? I hate to ask this personal of a question, but where do you apply it?!?

Thank you for the well wishes - right back at you!!!

Thank you! My doctor doesn't want me to try anything... just give it time. Unfortunately, I live in a small town, so there aren't really any options as far as finding a new doctor, so I think Clomid will be out of the question for a few more months.

I have been taking B Complex for about 2 months... I am hesitant to try the progesterone, because I hear you have to keep using it throughout your whole first trimester if you do get PG!!!

Alyssa,
My biggest concerns with progesterone were: keeping it off of my co-sleeping DD, having to continue it through the first trimester, and also, I guess, trying to trick my body into something it wasn't ready for, even though, I wanted to trick my body into....ah, well, you know ;)

Well, my dr consulted an RE, and he recommended 200mcg of Progesterone 3 times a day. I am going to use the suppositories, instead of the oral med. I am nervous because everyone says it is messy and I am hesitant about tricking my body into getting PG, too. I had an almost +OPK yesterday, so here we go!

Gulp!
