Prayers for my Dad

I have a prayer request for you guys.

My Dad was diagnosed with mylodysplasia (a red blood cell cancer of the bone marrow) 2 years ago. He does chemo every 6 weeks and has been doing o.k. But a few days ago he was admitted to the hospital with stomach pain.

They have run every test in the book and can't figure out what's causing that and the 103 fever he has. No one seems to know anything. We are praying that this isn't cancer related. They think maybe he has a nasty virus that hit him hard since he just finished chemo, but they just don't know. And even a virus is dangerous for him.

I know God will take him when He is ready. But.....I'm NOT ready yet. This summer has been so full of death for our family...I just don't know how much we can take. Between my good friend's 2 teen sons deaths, our daughter's Godfather's death, and my aunt and grandpa's deaths....I'm really not ready for another funeral. Or to lose my Dad.

Please pray for the doctor's wisdom and for my Dad's healing.
My 6 year old son and grandpa are inseparable....(they live on our property). This is hitting him hard. He was crying last night b/c he was scared grandpa will die. If you don't mind saying a little extra prayer for him, it would be so appreciated.
