Pumping 4x a day and no AF...

Hey everyone,

I pump 4 times a day and feed my 6 month old from a bottle. She has started solids but still drinks about 30 oz. a day which is about what I pump. I have been exclusivly pumping since she was 6 weeks old (long story) and used to pump every 3 hours before I fed her. She has slept through the night since about week 9 and then I have gradually gone to pumping 4 times. I get a long break in the night (10pm to 7am or so) and had heard that usually brings on AF. We are anxious to get pregnant again but I am wondering what it will take to bring on AF. I am not wantint to switch to formula, I don't mind pumping for my little one as long as she needs it. I have just started charting again. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance : )

Time :)

Since you've already decreased the amount of pumpings...I would guess you'll just need more time. It's still early, some people only nurse 4x a day and still only get AF at 12 months. Some people get AF at 3 mo bf on demand and exclusively. I hope it comes soon for you!

Good for you on pumping exclusively this long. That's quite a commitment!
