Karen Lynn,

FWIW, I got a negative FRER at 13 dpo, and a positive at 14 dpo with DD, but it was still a light line. The darkness or lightness of the second line means nothing, only that it's there. I don't know what progesterone levels are supposed to be, although I would think your doc would be pro-active if yours were too low, from what you've said.

Hey lovely lady!!!!! Your post was so thoughtful and thorough - I am still struggling with the layout - it hurts my eyes to look at it !

I think you can be cautiously optimistic about your Beta # - that is what my nurse said when my first beta was 39 - she said they like to see them over 50 to start next one came in at 105 and they were happy so really it is the doubling thing you want to worry about.....I am crossing all crossables for you. As for progesterone, my clinic didn't tell me my number and I wonder if they even test for it (it wasn't mentioned on my lab reqs).....for what its worth, when I had my prog. tested at 7DPO on one on my injectable cycles, my RE said that the actual # does not really tell you much in terms of outcomes.....he wouldn't tell me my # at the time and said that they are just looking for it to be present but individual #'s don't really tell them anything. I am still trying to wrap my head around that one and maybe I heard him wrong, but I don't think so as I kept asking him and that is the point he kept making.

I am now 12 + weeks along so I know that the low early beta can be scary - but end of just great!!!!!!

Big hugs and happy weekend,

Hey Karen Lynn,

I'm a little concerned about that progesterone number too.
