Name: Jasmine

Age: 38

Children/Nurslings: Declan (5) Emmett (3), #3 is due after 2 long years of trying and a lot of help from modern science - April 2011!!!!!

Where are you at in your cycle? BFP yeah!

How many kids would you like to have in your ideal world? I have always hoped to have 3 children - and am hoping and praying that my dream is only 7 months away!

What do you find most annoying about the TTC process (ie: trying to remember to temp, timed BD'ing, obsessing over your chart?, deciphering OPk's? all of the above??!): Well I think other then all of the above lol, I really hated the timed BD'ing and feeling that pressure to get busy on the nights my OPK's/monitor showed fertile. DH works really long hours and it always kind of sucked having to um, force the issue! There was some strange comfort in doing IVF and having his sperm frozen so when I needed it there was no concern about his availability or ability to perform - sad but true!

Plans for the Fall Season? My little man started kindergarten today ! I was so proud of him - he was very brave marching in there and letting me go with no tears - that was a big deal for him as I am a SAHM and we spend a lot of time together. OTher then that we will be busy with his hockey class and soccer team, #2 cutie is going to try floor hockey this year and we will some playgroup stuff when his big brother is at school.

I love this time of year - excited for Halloween, decorating crafts with the boys for Thanksgiving etc. Getting started on Christmas shopping! I love the weather too - cool and sunny - leaves falling off the trees, lovely colours.....awesome !

I am grateful for this board and the support and love and friendship I have received here :) Much love and baby dust to you all!

What do you find most annoying about the TTC process (ie: trying to remember to temp, timed BD'ing, obsessing over your chart?, deciphering OPk's? all of the above??!): Right now the waiting and the uncertainty of whether not I am able to O on my own (1st- 1st try after BC, 2nd.. never O'd without intervention).

Where are you at in your cycle? What cycle? :) No PPAF - I went off the mini-pill in April, so I guess that makes this month #5 - I know FF shows me at 9dpo, but that is because I changed to vaginal temping... :(
How many kids would you like to have in your ideal world? 1-2 more - we'll decide after #2
What do you find most annoying about the TTC process (ie: trying to remember to temp, timed BD'ing, obsessing over your chart?, deciphering OPk's? all of the above??!): That I got PG so easily with DD, and had no idea how BFing would impact TTC, and how unwilling I would be to force-wean! I knew nothing about FAM when TTC #1 and I kind of miss the blissful ignorance... My goal was to BF DD a year, and I never imagined how strong the bond would be - I have been trying to use distraction when she wants to nurse randomly during the day, and I would LOVE if she would sleep through the night, but I can't imagine not nursing her to sleep.
Plans for the Fall Season? I love making apple goodies after a trip to the apple orchard, raking, cozy Sunday afternoons watching football with a fire going, and the holidays to come!

I did some reading this week about women who changed up their nursing routines enough to trick their bodies into Oing, and then allowed their nurslings to go back to their routines, and they got PG! Has anyone ever heard of that or had it work for them personally?

Alyssa
