Serious Cramps

I've been having menstrual like cramps for almost 2 weeks, but no cycle. Does this mean it is coming? I had a thick mucus discharge last week? Could I be ovulating now? My baby is 12 months and I'm still nursing 2x in the morning and 1x at 7pm. I've cut back on my pumping sessions to noon and 10pm.

STA,

Could be. Are you charting at all now?

What type of CM is it? Like lotion type, or EWCM type? Three weeks before I got ppaf, I had this weird neon yellow CM....half ewcm, half creamy....strange. So yes, cm can mean things are happening.

The only real way to know if it's really ppaf is

1) Wait for af. When you see blood, you'll know.

2) Get some cheap opk's online and do one once a day to see if ovulation is coming. And start temping so you can see a thermal shift if you do O. Also chart your other symptoms...cm, cramps, etc.

If you're not in a hurry, I'd say number one. If you want to know the first time you O....or want to try to catch the first eggie, then for sure number two.

Good luck!!!

It was clear and sort of milky. What are some good OPK brands? I could run to Kroger and pick some up to get started immediately. I'm still cramping and it's driving me nuts. Still no AF :(

I got my first PPAF with pretty much no warning, but the 2nd one came after two months of AF type cramping off and on.

Your cheapest route is going to be internet opk's.....early preg. is really super fast for shipping...ebay is super cheap.

I do understand running to Kroger though....but I couldn't afford to keep using store brand opk's long term......but it'll get you by if you order some online soon.

Good luck!

Try a heating pad, a chick flick, (a babysitter), and a REALLY thick chocolate milkshake. That usually helps those cramps. (or
