So sad today :(

A close friend was coming to town next week to meet her newborn niece who was due this week. I found out yesterday that the little girl passed away during labour :( It is just so devastating to hear this - it was their first child and one they were told they would likely never conceive. I don't know what happened but something went wrong during her labour.

Oh Jasmine, I'm so very sorry to hear this. The loss of a lil' one is a pain no parent should ever ever know. I'll keep your friend's sister and family close in my thoughts.

How awful. I am so sorry to read this. Your poor poor friends. I hope they find the strength to get through this. Life can be unbearably cruel. All their dreams shattered. I am so sorry. xxx

This is just the worst. :( I'll be praying for you and them... my best friend's other best friend had a stillborn baby almost two years ago.... the baby was to be named after my friend... her death has changed me in ways I can't put to words. I'll keep them in my prayers!

So sad to hear that Jasmine. My niece died during labor shortly after youngest DS was born. It never makes sense when a baby dies. It just shouldn't happen. The pain is unreal, as a parent. Thoughts are with your friend.

Thanks Em - It was just so shocking and although I am not super close with them, I am so sad that they lost their little girl just when her life was beginning. The pain must be unbearable some days. I am so sorry for your friend - I think stories like that really do profoundly change us in so many ways. Hugs, Jasmine
