My husband and I really want to try for another baby in January. My daughter is 9 months old and she is doing so well with breastfeeding and we both enjoy it. I really enjoy the bonding time with her and she is always so content and happy while nursing. I feel that it's too soon to wean! But I've only had 2 periods since her birth in February. Am I not ovulating? Do I really have to give up breastfeeding in order to get pregnant again??? I dont want to stop but if I must I must...

please help!!

Hi and welcome. Getting your AF back is a plus! How long are your cycles? Are you getting signs of ovulation, like clear stretchy mucous? Most women don't have to wean completely to concieve. How many times per day are you nursing? If your nursling is being supplimented w/ any solids you definately can get pg. Keeping track of your cycles and timing intercourse with ovulation will help you get pg sooner. Need more info? Ask away!
