I am excited because I got a +OPK today - first one EVER!!!
Wow Alyssa Congrats! That really is an exciting thing, I remember the first one (and only one so far) I got a couple cycles ago and I was just tickled! The body really is an amazing thing!
I've been trying to be more active on the board since I visit everyday but here in a week I will be MIA for 2 weeks while we travel.
Hope all is well with everyone!
Yaaaaaay Alyssa : )
I'm still here.
Yeah for the positive opk! I remember well waiting for ppaf (and then waiting 3 weeks to O every cycle) and it does suck. If it will make anay of you girl still waiting feel better, I could post my pic. of 284 negative opk's while waiting for ppaf..... : 0
Jessica, I see you're in the 2ww. Are you going to test early or hold out?
I just took my last clomid pill this cycle. So....just hanging out waiting for my ultrasound on Wed. to see what's going on in there. Hopefully, soon after that I'll get to do a trigger shot. Though.....I must say I'm not looking forward to sticking that needle in. Anyone ever done that?

Hey Dee :) The triggers shot needle is not too bad. THe first time I had one, the clinic did it for me. The 2nd time I did it myself......keeping in mind that I was well used to injecting needles myself by then, it was fine. The stressful part for me was prepping the needle - I had to use a bigger needle to fill the syringe and then change it up for a smaller one for the injection. The actual putting the needle in is only really in scary in your mind - once you put it in the only real pain is a bit of burning from the meds (or at least that was my experience)......
Don't stress - you will be great :)
Hey Jessica :) I am still here - mostly lurking and keeping an eye on the board - sort of sucking as you CL these days - sorry ladies :) I will try and do better - That vomity feeling I have had for weeks now is leveling off a bit, my sore throat is pretty much gone, and I am not quite so tired in the evenings.
Will try to post more I promise!!!!!
Hugs and baby dust to you all- and yay for + OPK'S!!!!!
Thanks, Jasmine. Glad you are feeling better. I know the worst part of the shot will be just sticking it in--the anticipation of that. I don't have to mix or switch anything. It's a prefilled Ovidrel syringe....pretty straight forward.
I'm just hoping I'll have more than one follicle this cycle so that I'll be able to do a trigger. No point in wasting $50 if I only have one follie.
Jasmine~Don't be sorry!
