I'm so excited I found this board!  My DS is 3 1/2 and I only nursed him for 7 months.  DD is now 9 months old and still going strong.  I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon, but I really do want to start TTC.  AF hasn't come back yet and I haven't really stressed about it at all (it's nice having the break!).  But.. now 3 women from my November group have gotten pregnant and I feel sooo jealous! :smileyhappy:

Hi and welcome :smileyhappy: I do remember that feeling soooooo well and yes, it can be very frustrating wanting to see AF back just so you can send her away again for 9+ months.....On average it seems that many see Af back at 14 - 16 months PP even while still nursing so take heart that you are approaching that time and maybe you will start cycling again soon. I promise that the 6 or so months difference will not be that big of a deal once you have #3 cooking, so try to just enjoy and relax and have fun with being a momma to 2 now. I am trying to take my own advice as I have 3 little ones (7, 5, and 16 months) and am back to wishing and praying that we could have "just one more".....everytime I see a pregnant mama or read about somebody expecting, I feel so very green with envy!!!! Check out our TTC /BF'ing fact sheet for some helpful tips in coaxing Miss AF back....for what it is worth, I just had my first cycle at 16 months PP and am nursing baby girl many times in a 24 hour period without any limitations on her nursing sessions/length etc.....Glad to have you join us!!! Hi! Your children are beautiful! I am TTC number two and feel like everyone I know is pregnant! My son just turned 2, and is still nursing around the clock. I have no AF but hoping it's just weird because of the Mirena I had until two months ago. Hoping AF shows soon for both of us!

Jasmine, I am super happy to read that you got AF back with no restrictions on nursing your DD. I don't restrict my son either and he nurses around the clock. I thought about night weaning, but don't believe that it is right for us. You give me hope that I won't have to place any restrictions on his nursing. Did you do anything to encourage AF? I am thinking of trying the vitamin B and red raspberry leaf tea. Any thoughts? Thank you :smileyhappy:

Hi Anliena, welcome to our board.  It is very hard when all your peers seem to be pregnant, but just keep reminding yourself that you are BF because it is the best thing for you and your little one and a few more months waiting will make no difference at all.  There are always pregnant women around, we just notice it more when we are thinking about having another one of our own.  Your time will come around soon enough and you'll be proud that you BF your little one for so long and gave her the best start in life.

Good luck and baby dust x
