worried about my LP

So, I just started charting again and my last two cycles where I actually ovulated ended up with very short LPs. About six days or so. I just go my positive opk today and our bd timing was good, if my chart actually confirms ovulation in the next couple days. I am wondering if I should talk with my doc about a progesterone supplement to help lengthen the LP?I saw her a couple weeks ago and she is so laid back, she told me not to worry about the short LP and that it would sort itself out with time. I don't know if I am that patient! What do you think?

I would have a hard time being patient also! I have you about trying a B6 supplement? Other members have said it has helped lengthen their LP.

Hi there :) I would tend to you agree that maybe giving it a bit more time and adding some supplements (b Complex, Calcium/magnesium) is all you need to get your LP back on track. It often takes a few cycles and a lot of patience to get there. Having said that, a progesterone supplement could only help so if you can get your hands on some, I might be inclined to try it. Maybe try the supplements first - keep charting - and see where you are at in another cycle or two...your body might just get the hang of it and not require any other help. You might also consider using vitex to help, or a progesterone cream. Some other ladies on the board have used the cream with some success.
Let us know what you decide to do and how your LP is looking this month...

I just re read your intro post and I see you are using vitex and b6 already. Not sure how many cycles you have had already but maybe trying the prog. cream would be the next logical step for you - anyone else on the board please share any info on using it? I was never able to find it in Canada without a prescription.
