DD is 22 months old and we are gently introducing potty training. She has yet to actually use the toilet but we practice once or twice a day, just sitting for a few minutes, then wipe, flush, wash your hands.
The other day she told me she wanted to "teetee on the potty." So I put her little seat on the toilet and offered to help her climb up. She started whining,"no,no...THIS!" ( "this" means she wants something but doesn't know what it's called) So I tell her to show me what she wants and she runs out of her bathroom and returns carrying my PG test stash. She grabbed a stick, ripped the package open, climbed up and pretended to pee on it, saying "teetee potty, mommy." I thought I would burst from trying not to laugh at her. Better go hide those sticks before she tries to take them to daycare.
