Is the Vitex working..........or what?

OMG, holy EWCM! I got to check my rarely used "obscene amount of EWCM" custom box on FF today--and that's after days of really good EWCM already! Please tell me this means I'll O early. I am SO hoping the Vitex is causing this and leading to an early O. What I am afraid of is that it's causing this and it will just go on for another week for a normal O.......but I'm still getting really dark lines on my opk's.

It's just GOT to be coming soon..................

O.K., so I got a blaring positive opk this morning! That's one day earlier than my earliest positive (well, once I did get one a day sooner but that was years ago--before my forties!) It's about 3 days earlier than my normal pos. opk. So maybe the Vitex helped.

I do know I had O symptoms starting waaaay earlier this cycle.

Here's a dilemma I'd like an opinion on.......we BD'd last night. Now I have a positive opk today. We should bd tonight, right? But if my temp. doesn't go up tomorrow, then we waste the best day to BD, b/c DH cannot do 3 days in a row.

So do we BD tonight and hope my temp. goes up tomorrow? Wait a day and hope my temp. doesn't go up? Ugh!!!!!

I swore I would not sway from our every other day plan. But every time I look at that blaring positive, it screams "DO IT!!!"

I don't know.....

Dee,

I'd probably wait if I were you. If you do bd tonight, and don't get a temp jump, you'll panic in the am. I have to strategize this out every month also with an older DH. My thinking is, the day before and the day of o are really good timing wise, and what if I have 3 days of positive opk's and don't o until the 3rd, kwim? We can't kill them with sex, then we wouldn't have a papa for the lo

Sunday,

I was thinking the same thing you were......but two things make me wonder. One is that I'm using wondfo opk's this cycle....they seem to have a shorter surge for me. The last couple of cycles I had been using the thicker opk and I seemed to get more days of positives and a longer time before my temp rise. Two....my cm is turning back to creamy with ew mixed in.....making me wonder if today might be O day and my temp. will go up tomorrow.

Ugh. If we skip tonight and my temp. does go up tomorrow I'll be pissed!

oh, wow, that's tricky. If your house is anything like mine, it might not happen anyway due to a DH issue....

I think that's one of the hardest things with this whole ttc crap, is trying to bd when the time is right, at our ages. I'm considering a monitor if I don't get knocked up this cycle. It would be so much easier to say, yes I'm sure that it's today. I wish they were cheaper : (
