A beautiful flicker

We had our first u/s late Monday at 7w 1d and everything looks good. We saw the heartbeat, a beautiful flicker. I measured 7w, which I am told is good.
We were very relieved because I'd passed a tiny clot a few days before, and had a little pink spotting, which has stopped. I don't know if a second had implantated and passed, or if it was just one of those things. We saw no blood in the uterus, which is good.
I go in again for another u/s for reassurance.
I just found out today my SIL is pg with #2, a week behind me. If things work out for both of us, our babies will each have a cousin of almost identical age.
I'll have just turned 42 when I give birth. We are getting the NT screening again as I'd like to avoid any risk of invasive testing if possible. If the numbers are worrisome, I'll do CVS. No more amnio for me after PROM the last time...just too scary.
I don't think I'll be able to relax until I get the screening results back (if they are good), given the trisomy and nonviability we experienced just over a year ago. Hopefully we have a healthy, viable bean this time around.
Despite our losses, we are thinking positively that this time will finally be IT for us. Having taken HGH reassures me somewhat on that count, which studies showing much higher rates of live births in women 41-44 who have taken it during stims. I'm still taking the metformin, and I am finishing up azithromycin to try to knock out any possible ureaplasma. Saw a study that showed AZ might not work so well for ureaplasma, but can't take doxycycline while pg, so hopefully it will do some good if there's anything to combat.
