Gals:

Here are our Christmas pics of the kids: Juliana (8), Teagan (3) and Sawyer (1mo)!! It took quite a few shots to get ones of all three looking good... but we did find these really cute ones!

Happy New Year!

Cute Kids, Libby. Sawyer has this look like "who ARE these people?" and "are we done yet?"

Thanks! Sawyer does pull a few hilarious faces!

Teagan (Irish) - Beautiful
Teagan (Welsh) - Doe

It can also be spelled "Tegan".

Hey Krista! Nice new pic of Eli!!

Sawyer is not a fan of bright lights, and the flashing lights at the photo session were totally annoying him. Most of the time he was "acting up", then, he fell asleep... so what can you do?!?

This is the nicest of the 3 pictures we salvaged from the 79 taken. It is hard to get three kids smiling nicely all at the same time with a huge number of distractions.

All things considered, it is a very nice pic... and represents the day. The girls both generally happy and smiley, and Sawyer objecting to the "damned paparazzi".

So adorable, Libby! Thanks for posting. Is Teagan a popular name in Canada? I first heard it in the context of Tegan & Sara. It's a fantastic name.

Susan:

I would not say it is at all popular, but that is what I like about it.

DH & I know one who is 9. We met her when I was pregnant. We were meeting her mother for business reasons, and when we left their house - I told DH I wanted to name our baby Teagan. We did not name our girl after that Teagan... I knew and loved the name from a long time before. Indeed, Tegan was a character on Dr. Who, back in the day... She isn't named after her either. I just have always liked that name.

The other day Teagan & I were at a local diner for brunch. A young lady (18ish) was in line behind us and was totally shocked when she heard me speak Teagan's name. She rushed over and asked about the name and said she had never, ever met another Teagan.

I find the name pleasing, unique, and not too far out that people think we are crazy.

Your kids are so beautiful, Libby! The girls look so protective of their new little brother already. They are going to be a great help taking care of him.

Thanks, Kim!!

They are both doing really well with Sawyer. DD (8) is very helpful and wants to hold him all the time, and DD (3) is curious and kind and very gentle with him.

So far no signs of jealousy an all is going well!

Beautiful picture Libby!! Juliana is the spitting image of you! She holds her facial expression so much like yours in the photo you had posted of yourself. Teagan is adorable too and of course your big man Sawyer! Thanks for posting this:-)
