Honestly, I am worried

I have been avoiding posting this message as I am really trying not to break faith with my pregnancy, but I have had some worrying results of the latest hCG test and the RE's office.
In the earlier tests my hCG doubling time was lower than 48 hours. This was an encouraging result.
As posted previously, my hCG on Thursday was 1252 mIU/ml. This was a slight drift downward from the "doubling" of the other tests. It was noticeable to me, as the previous test was taken at 10am, and the Thursday test taken at 4:00pm - so really it should have exceeded the double rate because there was an extra 6 hours of time. I know this seems like nitpicking... but there is more.
I had a repeat test on Monday... yesterday. The results were 2613 mIU/ml. This is an 86 hour doubling time... which is a further drifting away from the previous trend.
My call from the RE's office was not at all encouraging. She said that the 48 hour doubling time was not achieved and thus there was very likely a problem with the pregnancy. I know from other research that after 1200 the doubling time can take longer due to the quantity of hCG. Some articles suggest a doubling time of 72-96 hours - which means that possibly this pregnancy may be OK... but I presume the RE's nurse is more of an expert than I... and now I am feeling very anxious and worried about the pregnancy.
I was going to worry about this pregnancy in any event, but the comments of the RE's nurse are hard to ignore.
Another point is the BabyMed hCG Calculator. If I use the Thursday 1252 and Monday 2613 result, it indicates that the rise is inadequate... the last thing I want to read. BUT if I use the previous Monday's result of 335 and then the Monday 2613 - it says that the rise is adequate, on the lower side of adequate - but still adequate. I am figuring from this that the hCG rise is drifting from the good range to the adequate/iffy range... and this is really concerning.
Girls, I would really appreciate your P&PT. I realise that the U/S on Thursday may not see a heartbeat yet - even in a completely normal pregnancy - but I do want good and encouraging results... perhaps a fetal pole...
All positive vibes and sticky baby dust you can muster will be apreciated.
