I'm shocked!!

I've been with my family on a cruise to Mexico for the last five days, so I haven't been temping or charting or watching symptoms. I temped this morning and saw that it was still high at 17dpo, so I took an HPT and got a really strong positive! Oh my gosh!!! DH and I stopped TTC last month and had pretty much decided we were finished. My body didn't even seem to be fertile this month as I never got EWCM and we didn't do anything to promote conception. I am totally shocked and so excited! I also have nerves galore as I lost our little boy at 14 weeks in April and had a chemical pregnancy in November, but this line looks great so far!! Oh my, oh my, oh my!!!!

So sorry dh is afraid to get excited. I"m sure he'll come around! Good luck at the ob's. Waiting for that first appt. was SO difficult. Hopefully it goes quickly for you!

I'm trying to be realistic and not get too excited yet. Maybe your birthday will bring me good luck! This time DH will be with me at the u/s. I won't make that mistake again

I know what you mean about seeing the baby with the same due date as yours. My next door neighbor had her little girl on Will's due date, so all I have to do is look out my bedroom window and I see what we would have had...That still hurts. Hopefully as time goes by, it will be easier for both of us!
I'm not feeling too confident about this pregnancy
I will be 6 weeks on Monday, but I have almost NO symptoms. The one that concerns me the most is that my BB are not tender in even the least bit. They feel just like normal. In all my other pregnancies, they were killing me by now. My only hope is that because my progesterone was so good (for the first time ever!), I'm not taking any progesterone suppliments. Maybe my body handles my own progesterone differently than artificial and the symptoms would be lessened as well? I know some of the side effects of taking the Prometrium are increased nausea, breast tenderness, and acne--all things I think of when I remember my pregnancies. I have very mild nausea, but that is about it. Well, we will see. I'm really trying to prepare myself not to see a heartbeat because of my lack of symptoms, but this is a different pregnancy from the onset so...there is not much I can do except wait....10 more days to go.
