I'm shocked!!

I've been with my family on a cruise to Mexico for the last five days, so I haven't been temping or charting or watching symptoms.  I temped this morning and saw that it was still high at 17dpo, so I took an HPT and got a really strong positive!  Oh my gosh!!!  DH and I stopped TTC last month and had pretty much decided we were finished.  My body didn't even seem to be fertile this month as I never got EWCM and we didn't do anything to promote conception.  I am totally shocked and so excited!  I also have nerves galore as I lost our little boy at 14 weeks in April and had a chemical pregnancy in November, but this line looks great so far!!  Oh my, oh my, oh my!!!!

I'm so glad you are doing well Kiki!  I think of you oftenSmile  I know what you mean about seeing the baby with the same due date as yours.  My next door neighbor had her little girl on Will's due date, so all I have to do is look out my bedroom window and I see what we would have had...That still hurts.  Hopefully as time goes by, it will be easier for both of us!

I'm not feeling too confident about this pregnancyFrown  I will be 6 weeks on Monday, but I have almost NO symptoms.  The one that concerns me the most is that my BB are not tender in even the least bit.  They feel just like normal.  In all my other pregnancies, they were killing me by now.  My only hope is that because my progesterone was so good (for the first time ever!), I'm not taking any progesterone suppliments.  Maybe my body handles my own progesterone differently than artificial and the symptoms would be lessened as well?  I know some of the side effects of taking the Prometrium are increased nausea, breast tenderness, and acne--all things I think of when I remember my pregnancies.  I have very mild nausea, but that is about it.  Well, we will see.  I'm really trying to prepare myself not to see a heartbeat because of my lack of symptoms, but this is a different pregnancy from the onset so...there is not much I can do except wait....10 more days to go.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Fingers crossed my bday will be a good luck charm! I will be thinking of you! All is well here! Not TTCing or being pg., has been soooooo relaxing!!! Altho, I am still a bit sad, we don't have any babies to hold! In a week, we are meeting up with DH's old coworkers & a gal is bringing her baby girl (who was due, the same day of my 1st loss)....so it just sucks of reminders. But I am coming to terms with the fact, that we tried, but my eggs were just too old and to just be at peace. So, I focus now, on what I DO have a wonderful DD & DH!! And amazing life. ;)

Great, I hope you see a perfect wee one in there.....the 29th is my bday!   Cool

DH was not too excited when I told him.  He said he's tired of being sad about losing babies. Frown  We'll see what happens.  I have my first OB appt at 7 weeks, Tuesday, January 29th.  My OB is meeting with me, which is unusual because usually the PA sees her patients until 12 weeks.  I guess she wants to see me because of my pregnancy with Will.  Well, I'll take it!  I'm so nervous and I think I'll feel better talking with her--she had two babies later in life (39 & 41).  So far I'm feeling fine.  The tiredness hit hard today but it might be because I spent 13 hours at a gymnastics meet yesterday!  Not much nausea yet, and I am ravenous in the mornings.

Baby looks good so far...hcg doubled from 887 to 1791 and progesterone is higher than I've ever had with any of my 8 pregnanciesSmile  I'm planning on telling DH with something like this "Hey, I've got a math riddle for you...what do these numbers have in common..." over dinner.  We'll see how he reacts!
