Hello TTC board. I started off here before I graduated and now baby Tom has arrived. Krista has asked me to copy Tom's birth story over here, which I am now doing. However, I've seen your posts over on the Pregnant over 40 boardv too, so this story is not new to many of you:
"For anyone trying to move the at term baby TRY SALSA! It worked for me - DD and I had a good old dance with pelvic girations etc on Thursday evening, then we accompanied DH mushrooming ( a two-hour trip into the forest...), following which we all went to bed as usual. I noticed NOTHING which would indicate that I was any closer to labour than any of the previous evenings. Just think - at the speed he was born baby Tom could have arrived in the middle of the forest...
At 11.40pm I awoke to go to the bathroom, but at 11.45pm needed to go again - I thought this was strange. I then realised I must have started leaking amniotic fluid. At 11.50 it occurred that the awful cramps that I've been having for a couple of weeks were in fact now coinciding with the contractions. So I got up and walked around the house for 10 minutes.
