what's going on??

Hello,

I will be 41 on Feb 3rd so I was hoping for a Happy Birthday surprise...
My husband and I have been ttc since Oct. and since this would make it 4 months like it did the last time I thought that is what was happening.

My cycles usually start every 31 days. Well, it is now day 33 and no cycle (except on day 29 I saw a little bit of light bleeding which I assumed was the beginning of my cycle) and then on Saturday (day 30) it stopped. I have been using the ovulation kit so I thought could this be it? I took the pg test on day 31 and it showed negative. On day 32 I was so upset that I took a menopause test and that showed negative. Just in case I wasn't pg this time, I went out and bought that fertiliy monitor because I heard it's pretty accurate, and now I could be going into menopause! I feel very sad right now because I don't know what to think. I called my ob/gyn and she just said take the pg test again for Tues (which I did) and it's still neg. So she said take it again on Thurs. In the mean time this waiting is giving me major anxiety.

Has this happened to anyone before? If so, what happened? It wasn't menopause was it?
I'm scared!
