2nd Beta in - CONCERNED

Hi guys,

So a few days ago when I was in PARIS of all places, I peed and saw blood. It freaked me out. There was a small clot too. It was just that one isolated incident and then I spotted very scan brown for a couple days after that. When I returned, I reported it to my Dr. and immediately went in for Beta 2.

BETA #2 came in, and my Dr ordered my U/S a week early. She claims my Beta number is on the low side, as it is supposed to double every 48 hours...and she said witht he spotting, it is inconclusive till I get the U/S. But based on that 48 hours/doubling math, it seems like it's within normal ranges. Is it low??

Beta 1 (at 16DPO) = 138

Beta 2 (at 28DPO) = 1559

I am thinking of you and praying that all is well. I know it's early in the game, but the worrying over your baby starts at the moment of conception, and we understand how scary this all is.

Hi loves_me, just thought I would chime in here - I am pregnant right now and my betas did not double in 48 hours and I am now 25 weeks, hang in there and I am really hoping for a great outcome for you.

If I can just get to the 2nd trimester I will feel a lot less scared!! But that is still 6 weeks away. Man!!

Thanks Pix. I am sorry to hear about your cancelled IVF. I hope you get some answers and on your way to a BFP SOON. If my PG doesn't work out, I will be in line for IVF with you for the next cleared cycle.

Sending you hugs!! xoxo

Being pg should be fun but it seems it is mostly scarey.
