3-6 month waiting room

hi, all,
I've enjoyed this board so much that I've decided to hang out here while waiting for my donor egg application to be approved and my donor magic to begin instead of the donor egg board. The RE said 3-6 months is the typical waiting time -- he said that 1.5 months ago. Anyway, if anyone else wants to hang out in my item line, feel free! Right now my period is non-existent (hopefully it is just a reaction from all of the IVF meds) and am pretty sure I'm not ovulating. Oh, and I'm on no fertility meds whatsoever. But, I'm fun! so, come on in and pull up a chair....

We can discuss .... pineapple upside down cake recipies and progesterone cream brands ;-)

best,
martha

Nothing if you don't want to get pregnant naturally.

Martha, I just finished reading an article online that nat prog cream made from yam will NOT absorb and turn into natural progesterone.

I can tell by the # of !!!! you use!

I am thinking I might have I O'd. Temps went up slightly... Of course, I'm in a new house now with super A/C (move complete! boxes still unpacked!), so that could be it. Plus, I'm waking up a little late.... I'm just hoping that I can have 2 weeks where I know what is going on.

Susan, you have a lot going on in your life this month. Relaxing might be better than any progesterone the doctor could give you.

However, as soon as I have a cycle where I know what is going on, I'm going to try to get some stuff as well.... There is evidence that yams increase fertility (some tribe that ate a lot of yams had a high incidence of twins or something?) Maybe the yam stuff can work in some sort of round about way.

ok, back to unpacking!

Sure would be something if you got a bfp while waiting on DE.
