45 and ttc#1 - any helpful suggestions?

I am 45, ttc#1. I am seeing an RE and doing follistim injections every other month. I will start injecting on Friday again with this cycle. I also see an accupuncture 1xweek, she wants to put me on herbs, but my doctor says no, it might interfere with something and they won't know what the cause would be from.
I was wondering for those of you who eliminate dairy products, if unprocessed milk would be okay? I get milk from a dairy farmer, so it is fresh from the cow, and is not pasteurized.
any suggestions for success is appreciated with my age.

Hi , i just turned 46. I have been ttc since about age 41. I have had 3 m/c's and one stillborn at full term from an umbilical cord accident. I was 44 when my daughter was delivered. I had 2 m/c's before her and just had another one about 2 months ago. My 1st 3 pg's were natural with no medical help. but since then I have had problems. I did the Clomid thing for several months but not to sure how effective Clomid is on women over 40. I know it is somewhat. I was dealing with my reg ob/gyn for several months. I started going to an RE in Feb and he has done alot of testing. Clomid Challenge Test is a good test to see what your egg reserve is. has your re done that?? my advice is to get aggressive . i feel like i wasted alot of valuable time by not being more aggressive in our ttc. I just did my first IUI cycle and I test on May 16 to see if we are pg.
I am on another board and a couple ladies there switched to organic food and became pg. I have started eating an organic diet, I still eat dairy but only organic. non pasterized is good but you also need to make sure the farmer doesn't give the cows any antibiotics, growth hormones, or pesticides.

good luck to you

That is great news being 45 and 46 and PG. I am 45 and TTC for my first time. I feel scared to try so late in my life as a fertile person, but I suppose I made this choice for a reason. Thanks for sharing your success stories.

Wish me luck and lots of happiness to you.

I have been hearing so much about that stuff. I have been on it for about a couple of weeks. Was your husband on it too? I am worried because my husband was on it since last month but missed a couple days, is this bad? I don't want to be upset with him. I am really thinking this stuff may do the trick! We cannot afford anything else!
