Dr. called and said my test came back at a 0.4, she says numbers like to be seen above 1. Not sure what this means, but she did explain I have very low egg reserve. But we will proceed with the CD3 FSH and then start clomid. I will give it a try and see what happens.

Anyone here had low egg reserve?

I'm sorry you didn't get a better result, but glad to know you are moving forward. I haven't had the testing done so I really don't know where I stand. I just keeping puttering along and doing a lot of praying...

It sucks to get numbers on these tests that we don't want to see. The thing about the AMH test is that it has not been in use for very long and the jury is still out on how well it correlates to low ovarian reserves. AMH is produced only in small follicles that are starting to grow. So the Drs are assuming that a low level of AMH correlates to a low number of follicles starting to mature which correlates to low number of eggs left. Maybe this month you only have a small number of follicles trying to mature for a different reason, like weight gain or stress or your holiday diet. As my RE told me, after 35 every women has low ovarian reserves, since the peak is in your late teens and early 20s. This does not mean that you can not get pregnant. If you are ovulating you can get pregnant, no matter what the tests come back as. Do not lose hope.

Thanks for the response. I've actually searched on the internet for info on this. and just like you said, if you ovulate, you can get pregnant. So we are continuing to try... amazing the power of words... Thank you both for your response!
