I'm new around here, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I feel that any woman awesome enough to describe her vocation as "getting down with her bad self," would be best served by going with the "what the heck" gameness. If you and DH have the health, the funds, and the willingness to try one more time, your RE feels it's reasonable, and 3 is a very decisive number in the 40+ IVF game, then go for it.
How would you feel if you *didn't* try? Could you sit comfortably with that decision?
Honestly, compared to some women I know, 3x isn't that much, though admittedly, after 3, they did move to DE, and I can totally understand the very personal preference to not go that route.
Oh jeez, upon inspection, I see you're a professional who rocks on her bad self, rather than one who gets down with her bad self. TOTALLY different lines of work. Sorry. :)
Thanks, NYMom! I would be thrilled to be a success story. I've never schlepped my meds around in a cooler, but that's a great idea. Wishing you the best of luck with your third try -- it's gotta be a charm, right?

BEST OF LUCK either way!
