I wanted to start a thread for those of us in the first half of our cycles, and waiting to O. Are you waiting to O?
I am supposed to O in about a week, and I'm really trying to take some very proactive steps to give my follicular phase every fighting chance to hatch a good egg.
What do you guys do during this time (besides BD of course!!!)
I am going to do YOGA to keep relaxed and calm
Eat more fertility foods---avocados, pumpkin seeds, asparagus, black raspberry leaf tea, etc, etc
I am going to try with all my heart and soul to try to be happy and joyful and hopeful and positive now more than ever. I have been struggling with increasing anxiety and depression as the TTC journey grows longer, but I think that it is soooo very important for me to try to focus on my joy and worth as I am now, today, with all that I have (and not focus on what's missing.)
So here is our waiting to O room. Pull up a chair. Let me pour you some raspberry leaf tea. :)

I KNOW Susan, how'd we get sooo off schedule?!
So good appt overall. I have several follies, 2 which look like they could both ovulate. Thank U acupuncture. She said she would be happy to see that result after clomid with a 40 year old. She also thought it looked like I would ovulate on Sunday or Monday not tomorrow. So good news there.
Sounds like you had a great appt and it is
Dianne,
Yes, she doesn't like that
Good news Jeanne!

Bridget! I am in T.O.! We were just in Ventura at the aquatic center :)
Yeah, my tomatoes are not ripening...someone told me today the average temp this month has been lower than it was in January. And its not likely that we will get a heat wave at all either.
Global warming = more moisture in the air = more marine layer and this weird cool summer. That's one theory anyway.
It's cool you know the REs in SB area too...I work there just a couple blocks from the hosoital and med center there, so try to arrange all my doctor stuff tup here.
I would be up for a playdate for sure!

Jeanne,
this all sounds great and your RE sounds like they will waist no time which is great.

Jeanne,
I meant waste, not waist.
