Do people believe in Fertility Objects?

Do people believe in Fertility Objects that increase the chance of getting pregnant? I have seen things like a fertily goddess Statue that if you rubbed the belly you would become pregnant. I have rubbed that thing everytime i go to the outback steakhouse with no luck for the past two years.

Now i was just at Ebay and i seen this rock with an interesting story behind it. I was thinking of placing a bid becouse anything that might help at this point would be great. I have been trying for four years to have another child before i get to old.

What do you guys think about stuff like this.

I just had a baby 2 months ago at the age of 41. We went through 2 ivf cycles to have him, BUT with the second and successful cycle I also introduced a fertility buddha and a fertility statue from Africa. Were these objects the reason I got pregnant this time? Who knows, but they certainly can not hurt. I personally would not spend a large amount of money on them nor would I solely rely on them (so for example if you are using ovulation predictor kits I wold not stop just because you now have a fertility statue). BSo good luck and i really hope you get the BFP!

I have a story... I have a son who is 2+ yrs., he was conceived the month I started wearing an ahnk ring given to me by a friend who had her two sons 20+ years earlier wearing it. I had 3 previous losses in the year preceding my pregnancy with him. I was 39 when I conceived and 40 when I delivered.

Presently, we are TTC #2. I had 3 IUI's with no ring. I got on Ebay and bought one in March (I took a month off TTC to rest.) I am waiting until Friday to test - I'm hoping this was my lucky month! It may be cosmic or divine intervention of some sort - in any case I think if you believe, it works! :)

I also believe in the power of prayer - I'm Catholic and said several novenas to St. Jude (Patron Saint of Lost Causes) and St. Gerard (Patron Saint of Motherhood) when I conceived my son. Not to sound like a wackadoo, but I think if you stay positive and do things that you believe in, you get positive results.

Just wanted to share.
