Hi Ladies,

I was talking to a friend today, she said she did not get af for a couple months, went to dr, he told her after doing tests that her overies were on vacation, and if you don't ovulate you don't get AF. I never new this. I normally have a 27,28 day cycle. On day 13 I usually get very sore breasts, which let me know I will be ovulating(have used opk they show surge same day I get sore) When I went for cd3 b/w and u/s they found a small cyst, so iui was cancelled this cycle. I am now on cd16 and have not gotten sore breasts yet. does a cyst prevent you from ovulating? Just when I think I am understanding all this stuff something different happens, Any Ideas..

Hi,

I don't know if that is correct, I have not O'd since my first baby was born, 1 year ago, and AF has been showing up on a mostly regular pattern. Now it probably is that you do produce an egg, but do not release it, as my RE is suspecting is the case for me. But, the OPK's show no O, and I still get AF.
