OK ladies, so I've been temping for two cycles now plus about a week, but have always just kept a paper chart next to the bed. I started watching all you really smart women using FF and thought, "Gee, I could do that."

So I put all my data in FF last night, temps, mood, cramps, blah, blah, blah...

My doc, my mid cycle cramps and the OPK's that I used to do (don't do them anymore), all indicate that I almost always "O" on or around CD11, or CD12. Even the U/S they did two weeks back said it was on CD12. To me, my temps seem all over the place, so I can't really tell from that. FF says day 14.

From what does FF draw this conclusion? How much stock do you put in their analysis? Gosh, I know it's just another source of information, but my head is swimming!

FF is a great resource but you need to take everything with a grain of salt.

You must be how I got 5 extra days added to my VIP subscription! So thanks! (even if it is making you crazy right now)....you can play around with the detection settings and see if you get a different result. There are 4. Advanced (the default), FAM, OPK (meant for those who don't temp or don't want temps to be the primary indicator, and Research.

Mattie reminds me once a month that it's just a machine but a good tool nevertheless.

Elizabeth,

The only thing I really rely on it for is when AF is on her way.
