The AMH test sounds quite interesting doesn't it? Sorry for hi-jacking your thread Terri, it just got me to thinking. :-) I hope you can get the test done without too much hassle.

It's a frozen specimen so some labs don't do it so check that out.

My RE didn't do the amh.

About me: A pixie in the city, 41, TTC#1 since May 2010, married 18 years.


Diagnosed with/surgically removed endometrioma Aug 2010. Sept IUI #1=BFN. Nov IUI #2=BFN. Uterine polyp removed Jan. 2011. Jan 2011 IVF cancelled. No response. 2nd

Both my acus (I fired the other one LOL) really press for FSH and AMH levels to be done.

I keep seeing older mom's around here (with new babies) I mean older than me LOL, I was told where I live having babies in mid 40's is pretty popular!

Where are you living, Goddess? Older moms appear to be de rigeur among the NYC professional class--the "youngest" NYC mom I knew had her first at 33! And plenty are having kids in their early 40s, some mid40s even, with DE. No big thing anymore in NYC, for sure.

I'm in L.A. ... totally normal here. In fact, I am surprised when I see someone young at the elementary school. Most parents in our suburb didn't/don't have kids till mid 30's or later...
