First appointment tomorrow .. Excited much :-) !!

Tomorrow is my initial appointment to begin the path of Ivf ... I know there is a lot of perpetration appointments and tests to be done before we can get started but I am like a child in a Lolly shop lol .. I have tried to google what the stages r and what everything means regarding Ivf but I must admit I'm lost lol .. But very positive ... They just rang and rescheduled my appointment for an earlier time slot so a good sign .. I guess first off will be preliminary testing ( which I have had sept 11 already) but a new dr so I am thinking he will need an update .. From then on ?? Does anyone know what options there are etc .. I don't understand the medical terminology .. Betas .. Iui"s .. What time in my cycle i start .. ( im cd6 atm ) guess I will be in good hands tho .. It's very exciting to say the least ... And my partner is able to come with me ... That has Also made my day .. :-)))))) wish me luck gals xxx

Very exciting! Wishing you the best and can't wait to hear how things go. Sorry I'm no help on the details but maybe someone that has done IVF will chime in.

Thanks guys ... Yes he was pleased that I had already had the dye test .. And so was I .. ( very uncomfortable due to tilted cervix) took an hour to get the dye through .. Yes he also ordered another sperm analysis as it was nearly non existent last test 6 mths ago .. I go back on the 6 th for ultrasound on my eggs? And then on the 9 th I see the Ivf nurse to kick start me off .. Sounds like she will educate me on these injections? Am walking blindly lol so appreciate the heads up .. My partner is a registered nurse so he can support me there .. He was all smiles on our appointment day and it was lovely .. Did your Ivf work for u Tracy ? I guess if nothing else it has taken my mind off things .. Allowed me to stop obsessing lol .. We can only try .. Baby dust to all xxxxx

I am heartbroken .. My partner and I split up today .. I can't do it anymore .. He cancelled Ivf like he was cancelling a coffee .. I am broken .. No baby for me and now alone .. But I had to walk away because it's happened too many times .. He breaks promises hurts me .. I deserve happiness .. I wanted his baby with all my heart and he led me to believe he wanted the same .. My life is a mess ATM .. How do I keep going .. I can't stop crying .. Why .. I'm so full of love and he has crushed me .. I cancelled my appointments in tears ..

I am so sorry to hear this. Now is not the time to make any decisions, but if you were going to do IVF anyway do you really need

Oh Vickie .. U guys r so supportive .. Xx I've had a massive cry ... Talked to my daughter .. Still numb ... It's baby steps from here on .. Taking one day at a time .. Throw myself into my gorgeous kids and my work and just try to get thru these next horrible few days .. Sending luv to u all ... Xxxx
