FSH Results - Not Good.

My RE just called me to tell me my Fsh results are now: 14.5

I am devastated. She said to wait till next month to see if my dh testoserone level normalize ( he was given Clomid last week)and then in june I can have another fsh test in hopes that my #'s improve and then she can do another IUI. My numbers went from 4.9 to 14.5 in 8 months. Not the news I wanted to hear as mother's day & my birthday approach in May.

The Dr. said to continue living normal lives and still ttc naturally- not to stop beacuse levels do change from month to month. So i guess that's what we will do. I had a feeling that my numbers would shift but not like this...Crying as I'm typing and hoping for better news by june.

No I have to skip this cycle - because they do not have a lab that can do same day labs to monitor me until next month, so they are having me wait until my next cycle (I am still on my current one) and then start next month without going on birth control...

I never really understood the BC thing.

You were right on point with the Vitex Susan. The Natural herbalist wrote back and said that since my cycles are regular no to take Vitex, this may potentially cause it to be off. She also said that,
Women over 40 may want to focus on Improving Egg Health, working hard to keep the uterus toned/healthy and supporting endocrine function through good nutrition and superfoods...

So I am just going to concentrate on that for now and relaxing.

Thanks again to all the ladies here for their input and plenty of baby dust!

Wannab, I agree that focusing on egg health is important and one of the things that was suggested to me was "fetility massage", which you can do yourself or have DH do to help increase blood flow to the ovaries and uterus.

Thank You Susan & Ruth.

I will see where we stand in June and then find out if my Re recommends any meds.

Ruth, I think we're both refering to the same site. I am going to do the fertility massage from what I saw in Hethir's video, financially I just can't afford everything..I have been taking Maca for almost 3 months. I did the cleanse last year. I am going to order the Royal jelly and continuing monitoring what i eat and make sure i stick to my exercises...My husband was taking maca as well, but now that he's on Clomid I told him to discontinue it.

Thanks again for all your input ladies. You're the best!

Thanks Jodi, I'm hanging in there but I think it's another bust cycle.

My doc didn't even mention bc pills so I know nothing about it but I have elevated FSH and horrible AMH although he didn't know this until after he prescribed this protocol.
