gloomy news, then hope on the horizon

Here is a short update on me -- not as joyous as some other announcements this week.

I called my RE to ask for status on our DE application. They now say Dec. or January -- a mere 5 months!

I told him that I haven't had my period in 2 months and asked if this was a side effect of the IVF cycle. He said that, given that I did so poorly with the IVF meds (zero follicles), that he thought that my ovaries were fizzing out and the end is near.

But, he said that it would not impact the DE procedure at all. So, now all I have to do is wait till Christmas and hope for the best.....

So, I will be around this board for at least 5 more months !@!@! And then, I intend to post a BFP!!!
