Hi all-
I used to post on these boards while we were getting ready and trying to conceive. I just wanted to let you all know that we have been blessed with a daughter named Priya Joy on August 5. She is so beautiful (what else would we think!) and has made us very happy.
Since I got such a late start on this (didn't marry til I was 42, I'm 43 now) I never expected to get to have a child. And even though I'm exhausted most of the time right now, I keep giving thanks.
If I were 10 years younger, I'd be planning the next one, but as things are I think we will count our blessings and try to be the best possible parents to this little girl.
Good luck and baby dust to you all-
Jennie
Before becoming pregnant, did you use clomid or any other kind of aid? I have 2 sons ages 23 and 20. I recently remarried and would like to give it another go. Any advice you may have will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and congratulations on your wonderful little blessing!

Sorry it took me so long to post again, but I only lurk here occasionally.
To answer your questions - the only things I used were progesterone cream prescribed by my ob/gyn to lengthen my luteal phase and Vitex and False Unicorn Root. I actually got PG the first cycle I used FUR.
Good Luck and lots of baby dust to you-
Jennie
Hi, Mommyreturns! I'm Rhonda and have older children, too. TTC#4 at 41 (almost 42). My so and I would like to have a child together. M/c in July at 8 weeks. But back again with renewed hope. This would be his first child.
Much baby dust to you!
Hugs,
Rhonda
do you mind if I ask what your FSH levels were when you got pregnant?
I'm 41 ttc #1,
thanks

Really sorry this took so long but I couldn't remember my numbers so I had to go back through the archives to find them and it took forever.
The only time I had my FSH tested it was fsh 4.2 and E2 46. I think that was 2 cycles before I conceived.

based on my RE's office ranges for FSH, 4.2 is excellent. Wish my level was that low.. my latest FSH was 10.7 but my highest was last month at 14.4; apparently your highest level ever recorded is 'as good as it gets'. It's amazing how much one learns when you end up doing infertility treatment!
thanks for checking
god bless,
JnAnB
