I've done acupuncture for the past 2 years w/ 2 different practicioners that specialize in fertility (ins. changed so I switched). I find it helps me have more productive periods (= more lining), I have more balance hormones, my ovulation is regular. It is a tool in helping you get pregnant, it is neither a

Thank's so much Jeanne.
I am having a HARD time remembering to take my temps.
Hi Terri,
I've been going to ACU since May 2010. I wanted to go to regulate my cycles as I had just gotten off BC pills. My ACU put me on chinese herbs in addition to the weekly treatments.
My cycles have been regular and my PMS each cycle has decreased significantly! I went from being bloated, queasy, exhausted, sore boobs, crampy, emotional, the whole 9 yards.
Each month of ACU, more PMS symptoms fall away. This last cycle, virtually EVERY one of my PMS symptoms has disappeared (!!), except for a bit of teariness, which I have had my whole life -- he has assured me this will also go away. I still cannot believe I had no sore boobs or exhaustion like I have had every month since I was 13 (minus my years on the pill, when I had no PMS at all).
I am still TTC but I can say the ACU has helped me with cycle regulation and MAJOR relaxation. I feel amazing and calm the day of the sessions. I wish I could go more than once a week!
The way I see it is, it makes one fully relaxed, and supports all fertility treatments, so if you have a qualified ACU practitioner, it certainly cannot hurt. The sense of well-being I have felt after sessions is incomparable. So for that, I recommend it, especially if your insurance covers it.
Good luck. :)
