I've found that if I wait long enough, this nice old Aunt Flo lady comes in and does it for me. Plus, I've been too disappointed in the past when the ironing goes poorly (burned shirts??!@!)....
So, I'm not ironing until I absolutely have to... I'm guessing I will have to iron if the AF lady doesn't do it by this weekend. And, if she does do it, that's fine as I'm waiting till October 24!
I've tried to attach the chart. No need to iron, right?!@!

I don't chart so I am no help...but if you can hold off on ironing, I say do it. I personally have no self control and that leads to a lot of disappointment. So if you are strong...be strong!

It is a weird chart.... you're supposed to have two clear regions pre and post o, but I have this dip after the OPK test that suggests, possibly, I didn't O when FF suggests (but who knows!)

I'm supposed to take BCPs when I get my period (which should be here .. tomorrow?) That puts me in a holding pattern for the other woman. They gave me a date of October 24th for the transfer, but they haven't said much since.
So, this is the last hurrah au naturel!

I don't iron before Aunt Flo is expected either... Because I'm too cheap to spend a fortune on HPT's...
I think you are right, you could have ovulated later, like day 16. Your averages say that you have long cycles, you ovulate around day 17 and your luteal phase is usually 18 days. But if you took meds this cycle, it could throw it all off, right?
Plus you know, OPK's can go + & -, and back to +, too. and sometimes "o" is delayed... etc, etc... I don't completely trust FF's analysis either.
You could Iron if it's only for your own sanity, but I think it's still early for you... I say give it until cd30 or 31 so you're for sure into the "5 days before your missed period".
But like I said, I tend not to iron unless Aunt Flo has blown me off.

Well, temps are really declining, so I'm not holding my breath (and glad I saved $10 on a test! -- says the woman who is about to spend thousands on DE)...
Kudos to Susan for thinking about taking out the OPK test. I did so and FF moved the O date over to CD 16, as some suspected. It also moved up my coverline (which could be too high because of the clomid), and I hit just above it this morning (97.86). So, in the name of science, I think this shows that OPKits are not necessarily reliable for women over 40.
I feel less achy, etc., this morning and think that the progesterone is losing control. I swear that I can predict my temps based on how much my boobs ache the day before now. Too bad all of this knowledge didn't help me out!
OK, onward and upward. Waiting for that nurse to return my email so I can get going with my DE as soon as AF arrives! (I also hate waiting for their stupid 4 pm phone calls, Susan, so I found one nurse who actually does email....)
