Ok Ladies, I know its not physiologically possible, but I "feel" pregnant. The DH and I did the BD on Saturday, which was my ovulation day, he did not know that, but he did not ask me either, so either way we were active at a time I could get pregnant. We have been in full blown discussion since my miscarriage in August about when or if we would have a child, so he is ambivilent at the moment. Anyway, I have been suffering nausea all day long. Its just been 5 days since the possible conception, so this has to be psychosomatic right?? I just wanted to say this to someone, I think my hope is getting the better of my reason!! Yikes. Just for sanity sake, how soon after conception will a home pregnancy test show positive?? Has this happened to anyone else?? I am beginning to feel alittle goofy about the whole thing. Oh and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL YOU MOMS AND MOMS TO BE!!!

Thanks to you all, the ladies on this list are always on my prayer list, much baby dust and happy BDing to everyone!!

I hope that you are pg!

I believe that implantation typically occurs 8-10 days after conception. Once implantation occurs that is when hcg is released. So, it usually takes about 8-10 days to test positive or feel any symptoms. Having said that, I have heard of plenty of women who have had symptoms as early as 4 days after ovulation. I remember when I was pg, about 5 days after ovulation, I had a pang of nausea and I just knew. Once my pregancy was confirmed (about 9 days after ovulation), I looked back and remembered that pang. Who knows...

Good Luck and keep us posted!

BFN this morning, 9 dpo. I will wait until Friday (13dpo) to test again if I can stand the wait~!! I have a long cycle 34-35 days, will my time to a positive test take longer because of that?? I was thinking implanation took place 10 after conception no matter when that was, but I am new at this baby thing. OB is definately NOT my area of nursing!!

HI Ladies...

With much sadness and three tests later, its a BFN. Still no signs of AF, but you know how things go. My body is doing something, its just not making a baby for me. I have a long cycle 35 days, which means today I should be starting, but no signs. I am glad I have this place to decompress out it, I think the rest of the world is quesitoning my sanity.

Hugs to you all

You are not crazy - My friends all think I am nuts because every month I think I am pg. We just belong to the same club. Our hope is all consuming, that is all! Keep up the efforts, and keep a positive attitude. Best of luck to you!!
