I think I'm having an annovulatory cycle and I was trying to be so optimistic after last cycle blew up in my face.

That must be so frustrating. I am sure that is what I used to do years ago, although I never used opks. Is it possible that you have a cyst causing you problems? With pcos that is more or less what happens, with the many eggs that are never successfully released turning into more cysts to cause still more problems. With the dhea you took and your comment that things have been messed up since then, if you haven't already looked into it I would see about using some bio-identical progesterone cream to help bring things back into balance. I sure hope things start working for you soon. (((((Hugs)))))

The progesterone cream can help level out hormones and get them back into normal range. You should always have more progesterone than estrogen, if I remember right it is a 2 to 1 ratio, but I would have to look it up to be sure. With age, our estrogen starts to deplete, but the progesterone does even more. It is also a pretty tame hormone, doesn't produce other side effects when you have more, and is converted into other hormones when you need it. Been a long time since I researched it all out, so I hope my memory is serving me well here!

And yes, you can definitely ovulate more than once in a cycle. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. I will be interested to see if you get a temp rise tomorrow! Hey, maybe you will end up with twins! Lol!

Susan,

Clomid, like any fertility med, can mess with your body.

You know Kristi, I expected the first cycle after stopping the clomid to be messed up but I certainly didn't expect this cycle to follow suit.
