I can't believe it..On a rest cycle waiting for a cyst to go away. I went for the blood test yesterday cd 34. It came back 12,621, they said that was very good (high) my progesterone was 25 they said that was good. I am so excited. See us older women can still do it. I will be 46 in December. I guess it is true what they say. It happens when you least expect it. We did not try, or even think about it this month because of the cyst and because I was doing so much planning for a party and starting a new job. I guess not having my mind on it for the first time in 18 months did the trick. Sorry to ramble on, I just can't believe it......

What GREAT news!!! Congratulations to you and your DH, you must be so thrilled! It's wonderul to hear such wonderful news, it gives the rest of us hope. I, too, will be 46 in December, and hope to defy the ads. You're my hero!

Our 1st precious baby together - m/c @ 8wks - Feb 14, 2004,
plus several chemical pregnancies since.
My three children : 16y, 27y, 29y
Plus 5 + previous babies lost.
My FSH is 8!
What's the point of being so fertile if I can't hold onto one little baby?

Sometimes it happens when we least expect it. That is what happened to me once. I wish you the best and a healthy and happy pregnancy and baby.

Thank you all for the congratulations...Had Ultrasound yesterday, could see the heart beat, it's so exciting.After the vaginal ultrasound I bled a bit, luckily it completely stopped in a few hours. They did not give me a due date yet. I am scheduled to go back on the 16th for another u/s, then we should be able to hear the heart beat.
