After 2 early m/c's 1/02 and 8/02 and losing my son at 18 weeks I am back to TTC. It seems to be a long hard road but will be well worth it in the end. I would like to connect with any other woman my age TTC. It helps having someone that knows what you are going though. Anyone out there???

Hi - I'm so sorry to hear your ttc journey has been so difficult I just wanted to pop in and let you know most of the ladies on this forum have moved to another, and wanted to give you a link to the website The link below is to a very active ttc over 40 website and message board The ladies there are very fun and informative and it's a really great place to to be if you're over 40 and ttc I just thought I'd let you know since this site isn't very active anymore Hope to see you there!!

Hi Paula - I am your age and having been ttc for 3 months - I married one year ago. I had my first visit with an infertility doc 2 days ago. He was not very encouraging - I have to have blood work on Day 3 and if that turns out OK - Clomid for days 5-9 - then another blood test. The thing that bothered me is that the doc immediately started talking about donor eggs - like he knew I was hopeless. Good luck in your efforts!

I am very sorry for your losses. Your son died at 18 weeks gestation? Unfortunately I am new to all of this and I ask a lot of strange questions.

I am 41, had a mc on 7/01 at 11 weeks (it was twins that had stopped developing at a very early stage), and now we are entering the world of IF. I go to the doctor today to have my 3 week check up and to discuss options for "speeding things along"...as my Dr put it.

I would be happy to email with you directly if you need a buddy. I also lurk on the other board that was mentioned, here is the address to the board there...

Good thoughts to you

Hi Bonnie,

Yes, I lost my son at 18 weeks gestation. It was very hard as you know. All of the path. tests came back normal. I am sorry to hear about your twins. I would love to buddy up with you through email. My home is PSmith227@aol.com

What did your doctor say? What kind of speeding things up did he suggest?

Paula
