First before I say anything, I want to thank you guys for all your support and positive thoughts. I feel it.

I went in for my U/S yesterday, and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I am in the process of miscarriage. The reason seems 2-fold:

There have been some developments since I posted this thread:

The Dr. told me this is an ectopic pregnancy. But it implanted not in the Fallopian tubes but in the cervix, which is also considered ectopic (any implantation other than the uterus is ectopic. Didn't know that.) She told me that it is life-threatening and highly dangerous but that because we are monitoring it very early on and taking action, I should be fine. Although the cervix implantation leaves a very high risk of hemmoraging.

So the course of treatment is this taking a long time because of the dangerous location of the fetus:
