I can not believe the year is coming to an end soon. Wow, where has time gone? It only seems to drag by after ovulation. Share symptoms, test results and vent frustrations. Sending sticky baby vibes and baby dust to all.

Hi Krista, So glad you weren't in Hurricane Sandy's line of fire.

I was able to look at your chart, there is a dip but it is still above the base line though (which they say is just a visual cue), and when I was reading the ff info on temp dips after O it emphasises the general trend and not to focus on one temp dip but to see the temps in the whole scheme.  Im still crossing fingers and you are so in my thoughts with this. (I feel so new to charting that Im not able to offer any new insight or analysis).

I have just had a temp dip today too Frown.  So think it might be the beginning of the end of this cycle for me.  I think I will continue with the Progesterone until I can see a pattern one way or the other on my chart of elevated or dipping temps, and then either test or stop the progesterone. My doctor told me to take it for ten days which ends today, but its too early to test so I think this is my best course of action??  I hope I dont have to wait 18 days!

Krista, hang in there I know this is so hard and feels like limbo especially with all the insurance stuff, what bad timing for that! So not what you need to have to worry about or taking into consideration at this time.

thanks for all your best wishes and ditto back to you.

Thanks so much VickieSmile  I am really hoping for a higher temp tomorrow too!  If it goes back up, I'll take another HPT, if it drops further, I guess I won't.  On the up side, my lower back pain went away and I don't have any other AF symptoms.  Oh...I so hope this baby is a keeper!

Thanks AvaSmile  I'm hoping my temp readjusts tomorrow and goes back up.  Like you said, it didn't go below the coverline yet.  I usually see a big dip the day I start AF, but it didn't start today (woohoo!) so there is still hope, right?!  Your dip looks okay to me, but I'm not sure how the progesterone affects the temping.  Sorry I am not much help!  I would definitely wait until you can test to stop the progesterone, though.  Just to be on the safe side.  Lots of sticky baby vibes coming your way!

Yaaay !!!!!for the no show AF Krista, YES and RIGHT stilll hope, also I went in and looked at ff gallery charts (my new favourite passtime if I get a spare minute!) and looked at heaps of charts that finished with positve pg tests.  And they all had two or three dips in the post luteal phase (wow I sound so professional now!!) before the + and some had - tests, temp dips etc then ++.  it actually cheered me up no end (now Im starting to sound weird) .  As hard as it is try to keep relaxed. your chart looks really good. I reject the dip.

Thanks for your earlier hug, it made me feel so much better.

The prosgesterone, i've decided to stay on it until I get a pattern of higher temps and can test, or AF shows her nasty face.  Even though I feel really happy about the O i'm actually not feeling as if this is the month Im going to catch that golden egg,  this is my 6th cycle (I think or 7th, OMG Ive lost track already) and in the last three each one has been totally different from the one before.

Sorry this turned into a bit of a sad post. Im still VERY excited about the O on my chart and the fact dh and played on the right days.

Cant wait for your next post and your beautiful bfp.

hi Vickie, you were right, after I read your post I went into ff gallery and checked out "like" charts matching my O date, there were over 200! I feel much better about all that.  sometimes I feel like a bit of a negative nellie (even though I actually love the name Nellie) and too afraid to even be happy about some of these milestones which are really worth having good spirits over.  I am excited at least it looks like I did O and I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain even more over the cd13 and cd16 rises in my chart.  About 3 months ago my cycle was usually 28-30 days regularly,  On the cd13 one I actually thought I had O'd but didn't think to record cm data as it seemed so soon after AF, but I have a vague memory of noticing (tmi warning)... w cm....  Do you think I may have O'd earlier but ff didn't interpret it?  It not possible to O twice in a cycle is it?

With all the upheavals this cycle, I had tonsilitis and quite high fevers for the first 10 days of the cycle, etc and the progesterone, Im not really expecting a positive ending to this cycle, my main aim is to have a normal length AF and a progesterone free next cycle!!... but am feeling good to see crosshairs on the chart! and loving the idea that this is a really good reason to POAS, I mean I will have to because of the progesterone!! (yeah yeah sure).

I think Im talking to you gals more than dh at the moment!

Hi gals, well, my temp rose this morning, but I had such awful cramps and backache that it woke me up and the m/c has startedCry  I know it is better to lose the baby now rather than to wait until later, like 14 weeks with our last baby, but it still really hurts.

Ava, I understand the "fun" factor in searching old charts to find ones that match yours!  I'm excited that you will get to POAS--the anticipation is one of the best parts for meWink  I took progesterone with 3 of my pregnancies, but I wasn't temping at that time, so I am interested to see what it does to your temp pattern.  What day do you think you will test?  Good luck!

Ava, I am thinking you O'd earlier because usually progesterone prohibits O. A dr that prescribes progesterone to women for their LP will tell you to make sure to confirm O and usually have you start it 3 days past ovulation just to be sure. With you taking it for the bleeding, I'm not sure how it would affect the cycle. If you feel up to it, go over to Fertility Charting and let Sue look at the chart. She is really better than me about charts. Your question about O'ing twice- a woman can release 2 eggs per cycle but that usually happens within 24 hours of each other. That is the  reason doctors will tell you to BD the day of or after the temp rise.

Now, if I were you, and you can take my advice with a grain of salt, because I used to be and still could be a chronic POAS person, I would find some cheap tests( if you have a Dollar Tree or Dollar General, tests are only $1) preferably pink dye as  the blue can't be trusted. I would test now just to possibly rule out O on days 13 and 16 then you could watch your temps and remain on the progesterone for about 10 more days to see if CD 26  was truly O. If a BFN would truly upset you , then definitely wait it out but I haven't learned to do that yet! After all this time TTC I haven't learned a thing about patience other than I still don't have it!

Hoping my post has been more helpful than confusing. I tend to ramble some days so over look me when I reply with a novel. I think I am more hopeful for your cycle than I am my own.

I love your advice for Ava.  I think that sounds like a wonderful plan!

I think I will be facing another long cycle. The last doctors visit, I had a cyst on the right ovary and evidence of more that dissolved. My endo is also back so I face another surgery for all that. I had surgery in 2008 for endo and cysts and that's when the doctor told me I wouldn't be able to conceive. His recomendation then was a hysterectomy but I refused. It was his recomendation again this time so I know I have a decision to make in the near future.

I did however have a temp rise this morning. I thought I was going to O a few days ago but temps didn't line up. Unless I have a slow rise I don't think it happened.  I think this old body is trying to but just can't get everything together to do it right  I am still going to track CP and CM and hope that an egg will fall out and get caught! I still believe in miracles- they happen every day- I just hope I get blessed with one.

How are you physically? Hope it's not too bad and that your cycle goes right back to normal
