O symptoms but tests inconclusive

Grrr... This is getting frustrating.

I posted yesterday about where I'm at in my cycle under the Analysis Paralysis post.

This was yesterday's info:

9/24: CD11 (Assuming a 29-day cycle but I'm not 100% sure of that since this is my first month charting.)

  • FF says my predicted fertile days are CDs 12, 13 & 14 (9/25, 9/26 with high fertility on 9/27.)

  • O predicted on CD15 (9/28).

    Observations:

  • I had thin, watery but very stretchy CM on CD10 (9/23) but none that noticeable today, CD11. I could go so far as to call it egg white. Hadn't seen any CM prior to that.

  • My OPKs showed no line until today, but the control line is darker, so it's considered negative for the LH surge.

  • I started experiencing tender breasts on CD10.

    Today CD12:

  • My temps haven't changed at all.

  • I'm having mittelschmirz cramping, predominantly on the left side because it's radiating into my thigh (not uncommon for me) but I feel a fullness in both ovaries.

  • No CM (although I've read people in their 40s may only have 1-2 days max of CM present)
    Increasingly tender breasts.

  • Negative OPK results, so there is no LH surge.

So, what's the deal? Where am I in my cycle? If I'm negative for LH surge this close to O, what does that mean? I'm making myself nuts. 8-(

Fertilityfriend can't truly predict your o date if you've only just started charting.

Sorry, but I am really not sure. Since you have not been charting before this, you really don't have a baseline to go by. I would give it a few more days and see what happens. I don't use opks as a rule, except for one month where I obviously ovulated early, like CD11 or CD12, but those who do will often test more than once a day because it can be easy to miss, even with an opk. I know it is hard, but give it some time. (((Hugs)))

Thank you, Michelle and Susan. I have a feeling I O'd last night based on the symptoms and a temp rise. We're still going to BD a few more days. I should have jumped on it the day I saw the EWCM. I just didn't understand what I was doing. * sigh * Chalk it up to learning. I wanted a hit the first month. 8-)
